Being sick and a beautiful garden

This weekend I was sick. Sick, sick, sick. First it was the fever/cold/allergy thing. Then it was the dreaded Delhi Belly. So I haven’t been up to too much lately. I did go to church on Sunday and dragged my poor Buddhist friend Songjoo along with me. I had a fever so we took a taxi there but a rickshaw back. She was excited because the church that meets downstairs was all in Korean so she got to talk to some people in Korean. Maybe next week we can go to that service. Although I definitely won’t understand any of it.

Monday night I went to dinner at Madhukar’s sister’s house. To Mudhukar’s kids, that would be Bua (Dad’s sister) and Fufa (Dad’s sister’s husband). She has the most beautiful garden. It was getting dark by the time we headed out to the backyard to see it so you’ll have to excuse the pictures taken with my phone. I was, however, thrilled to find that I could shoot panoramic shots with the camera on my phone! How cool is that? These were taken in very low lighting which is why they are so grainy/blurry. The next time I go, hopefully I can get some better shots.

  1. Wow, beautiful garden! So sorry you were so sick though. That really stinks.
We are thinking of you all the time...and Ben...and wish you both were here.
