Rajpur

Lately, in between classes, Matthew and I have been taking the scooter up to the area above Rajpur. It's really beautiful up there. We went up there on Wednesday and just drove around. 

On the way back, we spotted this sign for pickles


and met our new pickle friend. I can't remember his name but he makes pickles as a hobby.

These are some pickles pickling in the sun.


We asked him to make some pickled tomatos for us and he very nicely obliged. Friday, on our way back up, we stopped off and picked them up. Very tasty.

Then we continued up through the town of Rajpur and found this cool little place to hike. It was hot, but a good hike. Just wish I'd been wearing better shoes.

Then we left on our 12 hour train ride to Amritsar.
