On the register

I'm finally on the register! my medical clearance went through last week and I'm now on the register (64 of 64). It kind of sucks that I'm 30 places down from where I was when I was put on the list way back at the beginning of October but that's the way the game is played I suppose. I'm a little worred that if they keep adding 30 people each month and they're only going to make offers to between 15-20 new consular officers for each orientation class maybe I'm not the shoe (shew?) in that I thought I would be. I had been hoping for a January orientation date but now I'm afraid I'll be lucky to get an offer at all. -sigh- Positive thoughts, positive thoughts.
